From Jeff Fountain at InGenre.com:
Horror wears many faces. It can shock you with gore, scare you into some sleepless nights or make your blood run cold with its roots in the real world. Some actors have embraced one area of horror while others have jumped into all aspects of the horror genre with a grin on their face.
Michael Rooker is one of those actors who become the role they are playing, Powerful, commanding and intimidating, it has been a pleasure to watch him act through the years, especially with the wonderful trail of carnage he has left behind him in the world of horror.
Rooker made his presence known right away in his first film, 1986’s Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. Loosely based on the real life serial killer Henry Lee Lucas, the film follows Rooker’s character Henry as he goes on a killing spree. The utter disregard for life and seemingly casual way he kills makes Henry a chilling and cold blooded individual. Rooker creates such a realistic look and feel to the character that you believe you are watching someone who is simply pure evil…Follow @RookerOnline
